Cupar chippie named best in Fife for third year running

The Central Cafe, on Crossgate, scooped the award at the Fife Retail Business Awards 2018, which was held at the Keavil House Hotel in Dunfermline.

The judging for the award is based on online customer nominations, mystery shop visits and a personal interview with the judges during opening hours.

After receiving the award, Paul Caira, from Central Cafe, said: “I am almost lost for words.

“My staff and I have worked so hard this year to continually look for ways to improve what we do. We put our valued customers at the very heart of our business.

“Recently, we have invested in a new state of the art ordering system as well as developing our menu to set new standards to make sure that our customers keep coming back.”

Paul continued: “Above all we sharply focus on great food, fantastic service and good value for money, our customers’ patronage is hugely appreciated.”
