East Neuk motorists warned of weekend road closure

East Neuk residents are being warned a planned road closure this coming weekend to allow for essential maintenance to be carried out.

The A917 between Anstruther and Crail will be closed from 7.00am on Saturday, March 4 until 7.00pm Sunday, March 5. with signed diversion to put in place.

The improvements, part of £70,000 of road network improvements planned by Fife Council in the East Neuk, include speed reduction measures at Drumeldrie, improved signage at Elie and resurfacing work between Anstruther and Crail.

Access to properties along the affected stretch of road will be maintained during the closure.
