Hug A Mug Coffee Shop is joined among the finalists by two other Fife businesses.

They made it through from a long list of 2000 nominations.

Hug A Mug, which is based at the top of Rosslyn Street, worked hard throughout the pandemic, changing its business and creating deliveries of afternoon teas a well as lunch packs for staff at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

The business is shortlisted for new restaurant of the year, and lockdown team of the year.

Dunfernline based Indian restaurant, Dhoom, is among the finalists for inspiring restaurant of the year, while Curry Heights from Inverkeithing is bidding to be takeaway delivery of the year

The online awards will celebrate local heroes for their talent and commitment to serving the country, promoting different cuisines and connecting the community through food and culture.
