Fife ‘Muffin Man’ finally launches new baking business

Darren Somerville had just started as a resident at BRAG’s Crosshill Community Enterprise Centre in February when the lockdown started.

The launch of the Muffin Man had to be put on hold, as Darren relies on selling his baked goods at markets and fairs.

Darren made good use of lockdown, donating cupcakes, ready meals and recipe kits, as well as creating instructional videos sharing his recipes.

With lockdown easing, and markets and fairs restarting, Darren has launched his new business and an online shop.

The Muffin Man offers a range of cupcakes and muffins for all occasions which can be delivered to your door, from St Andrews to Kirkcaldy.
