Fife salt business launches fundraiser offering exciting rewards after expanding into Leven
The East Neuk Salt Company, based in St Monans, received the keys to its new premises in Leven last week.
While the business will still be based in the East Neuk, the Leven side of the business will be focused on the harvesting, packaging and distribution.

To raise the funds, donators are being offered a range of unique gifts which celebrate everything the East Neuk has to offer.
One reward, named the ‘not so secret supper club’, will see 40 donators treated to a special evening of culinary delights and music, with Scottish singer Adam Holmes performing an acoustic session. Donators will also learn about the salt harvesting process and leave with a goodie bag.
There are rewards aimed at children, giving them the chance to learn about salt and make their own, as well as being given a pizza masterclass.

“I feel so passionate about this area,” said owner Darren Peattie. “I want to create employment, youth opportunities, and put the East Neuk and Fife back on the map as a salt harvester.
“This fundraiser celebrates the East Neuk food scene, promotes other businesses and celebrates our heritage.”
