Improvements to Standing Stane nearly complete
Road safety improvement work on the A915 Standing Stane Road between Windygates and Kirkcaldy is nearing completion.
The speed limit along the Percival Road to Dura Vale roundabout and part of the B932 to Methilhill has been changed to 40mph, while a 30mph speed limit through the east end of Windygates has also been introduced.
Other work included: replacing and renewing the road markings and reflectors; trimming tree branches; refreshing anti-skid surfaces and clearing the road of mud and the buildup of dirt and grass along the kerbside.
The only work outstanding is the upgrading of the signs and, after that, a final verge tidy up.
