Kirkcaldy business lands deal with one of UK’s big six energy companies

A Kirkcaldy business has landed a new contract with one of the UK’s big six energy companies.

VericCall Ltd is now set to launch a new jobs section on its website to kick-start recruitment.

The posts will be home working.

VeriCall has created 30 jobs since opening its base at John Smith Business Park in 2019 with clients including directory enquiries firm, 118118.

Last year it also won a contract to support 15 charities with Rubicon CSR.

The company offers outsourced call centre services to a range of firms, and the new deal allows it to step back into the recruitment market.

Adam Taylor, CEO, said: “Following a successful 2020 I am delighted that we are starting 2021 with continued growth offering further new employment opportunities in the Fife region after this energy company put their faith in us with this new contract.

“Having created over 300 new positions in 2020 this further growth will allow us to continue to further our work with local partners to create sustainable career opportunities in Fife when they are most needed.”He added: “It is an exciting time to join VeriCall and I look forward to introducing further talent to the team to be part of our journey.

“Due to this new contract and our consistent growth, we have launched a new section on our website specifically for jobs so people can find it easier than ever to join us.

“We always need motivated and ambitious people with sales and customer care experience.”
