Inglis Vets were delighted to be officially opening their doors at Chapel Level in Kirkcaldy, their fifth practice in Fife and ninth overall.

The new branch was specially designed with pets in mind, boasting a separate cat waiting area and ‘spongy’ green flooring in the canine consultation room to offer maximum comfort for furry visitors.

Peter, who joined the Fife Flyers last year, had one condition on coming to Scotland – that he could bring Luna along with him.

He said, “I definitely couldn’t leave Luna behind when I decided to come to Scotland to play for Fife Flyers. She’s an amazing dog and although it was a long process to get her over here, it was definitely worth it as I would have missed her far too much.

“Fife is a really beautiful part of Scotland and there are some great local places for walking in Kirkcaldy, which is perfect for Luna as she loves to get out and meet other people and dogs.”

One-year-old Australian Shepherd Luna was treated to a pet health check by vet Barbara Hulse during the visit.

Peter added, “Luna definitely loved all of the attention she got at Inglis Vets during the opening.

“As a Fife Flyers player I often get recognised when we’re out, but today Luna was definitely the one everyone wanted to meet!”
