New cafe in Kirkcaldy High Street as works starts on ex-Debenhams shop
The company which has taken over the building left empty by Debenhams’ closure has applied to include a cafe in its plans.
Concessions store, 1517, has put its branding on the front of the building and large posters saying it is coming soon to the High Street.

Hide AdIt will be its second store in Scotland after opening initially in Ayr.
The 1517 model brings together a host of national and local names under one roof.
It wants to put a cafe at the front of the building which will serve hot drinks, cakes and hot snack food such as toasted paninis.
IT would be able to accommodate 30 people.

Hide AdDebenhams closed its doors in Kirkcaldy at the start of the year, leaving behind a large empty unit in the heart of the pedestrianised zone, directly opposite the closed M&S store.
