A former betting shop in Kirkcaldy is to be turned into a restaurant and take-away.

Fife Council has approved plans for the change to the premises at 44-48 Wilson Avenue.

The application was made by Mrs Sobina Imran and Mrs Robina Ghuffar .

It related to the vacancy ground floor betting shop which has been empty for over two years.

It forms part of a small group of commercial properties on Wilson Avenue.

The proposal is to operate the restaurant/takeaway between 12:00pm and 11:00pm
