Stagecoach has donated over £12,000 to four foodbanks in Fife.

It gave £3200 each to Dunfermline, Glenrothes, Cupar and Levenmouth.

The donations formed part of a wider commitment from the bus operator to support the local community, assisting with access to local foodbanks as well as supporting the continued operation of these vital resources.

Scott Hall, cead of commercial for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “We’re extremely proud to support foodbanks across Fife, especially at this crucial time of year when budgets can be even more stretched. Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that everyone should have access to basic food supplies coming into the winter months.

“All foodbanks who we have donated to are reachable by bus, making travel to each affordable and accessible for Fifers who require some extra support this winter.”
