Coronavirus in Fife: Intensive care patients rising

The number of people with coronavirus in intensive care units (ICU) in Fife is continuing to rise, according to the latest figures.

According to today’s statistics there were 42 new cases.

2551 cases have now been detected in Fife since the start of the outbreak, up from 2509 yesterday.

The number of people currently who have tested positive in Fife hospitals is now 40, and 11 of those are in intensive care. The ICU figures have more than doubled in the space of a week.

A total of 1,003,492 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of these people, 67,011 have tested positive.
