Coronavirus in Fife: Largest overnight increase so far
Fife has seen the largest single overnight increase in positive coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, new figures show.
1743 cases have now been detected in Fife since the start of the outbreak, up from 1695 yesterday, meaning that 48 cases have been registered since yesterday.
The number of people currently who have tested positive in Fife hospitals is now seven, increasing on yesterday’s six cases.
A total of 862,993 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these people, 41,256 were positive.
