Coronavirus in Fife: Sharp rise in new cases

Fife has seen another steep rise in the number of coronavirus cases, new figures show.

According to today’s statistics there were 46 new cases today.

1903 cases have now been detected in Fife since the start of the outbreak, up from 1857 yesterday.

The number of people currently who have tested positive in Fife hospitals is now 18. An increase of four since yesterday.

A total of 908,968 people in Scotland have been tested at least once. Of these people, 49,164 have tested positive
