Coronavirus cases in Fife slow to a crawl

An update on cases in Fife shows total positive cases is now 828, up from 827 yesterday.

In Fife hospitals, there are currently 67 known cases, down from 69.

There are less than five people currently in intensive care.

A total of 104,880 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these, 15,185 were positive.

177 people have now died from coronavirus in Fife, it has been confirmed.

The latest figures released by the Scottish Government show that Fife 15 more people died since the previous week.

Of the 177 deaths in Fife, 66 occurred in care homes, with 15 at home, and 96 in hospitals.
