The number of confirmed positive cases of coronavirus in Fife has passed 50.

Latest figures released by the Scottish Government on Saturday show 51 tests in the Kingdom have come back positive.

This is an increase of ten since Friday.

Across Scotland, 1245 people have now tested positive for Covid-19, from a total of 13,133 tests.

Sadly 40 patients who tested positive for the virus have now died.

These latest figures come as the country is experiencing its first weekend in ‘lockdown’ with people being told to stay at home and save lives.
