The fun video is a take on the online toilet roll challenge with the teachers “passing” a roll to each other in a series of clips spliced together by teacher Lucy Brown, with the help of her daughter, a pupil at Donibristle Primary School.

Lucy said: “My daughter and her friends are online all the time and she edits things together so it gave me the idea to do this.”

The clip has now been shared on the school’s app as well as Facebook and Twitter and has already had a hugely positive response.

“During this time I think it’s important to connect the community and social media can help with that.

“When I came up with the idea I wasn’t sure what the rest of the staff would think but they all immediately agreed.

“We know that a lot of the children are worried just now about the coronavirus, so we hope that this will cheer them up.”
