Fife school closed after positive Covid tests
A primary school in Kirkcaldy has been closed and all pupils told to stay off after several COVID-19 positive tests were recorded.
NHS Fife has confirmed that a small number of individuals with links to Sinclairtown Primary School have tested positive for the virus.

Hide AdAll confirmed cases have mild symptoms and are currently isolating at home.
Contact tracers from the Test and Protect Team are in the process of identifying and tracing the known contacts of the positive cases to provide public health support and advice.
As a precaution, all pupils have been told to stay off today while NHS Fife’s Public Health Team carries out a thorough risk assessment and examines any potential link between the positive cases.
A further update will be issued in due course.
It is the second time this week that the school has been disrupted by positive Covid test results.

Hide AdOn Monday, all pupils from P1A, P4 and some pupils in P2 were asked to stay off school and self isolate.
