Fife sees first new coronavirus case in five days

An update on cases in Fife shows total positive cases is now 827, after sitting at 826 since May 20.

In Fife hospitals, there are currently 69 known cases, a number which has remained the same since May 22.

There are less than five people currently in intensive care.

A total of 103,508 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these, 15,156 were positive.

177 people have now died from coronavirus in Fife, it was confirmed this week.

The latest figures released by the Scottish Government show that Fife 15 more people died this week.

Of the 177 deaths in Fife, 66 occurred in care homes, with 15 at home, and 96 in hospitals.
