Further positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Fife in last 48 hours

After two more positive cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Fife according to Friday’s daily figures, there was no further increase on Saturday.

The latest data from the Scottish Government shows that the total number of cases recorded in the health board area since the outbreak began remains at 932 – the same number as Friday’s figures which had shown an increase of two from 930.

According to the government data 46 people confirmed as having Covid-19 are currently being treated in the region’s hospitals and less than five are in intensive care.A total of 275,751 people in Scotland have been tested to date through NHS Scotland labs and the UK Government’s testing programme.

Of these, 257,464 were confirmed negative and 18,287 were positive.
