Number of coronavirus deaths in Fife triples in a week

46 people are now known to have died, up from 15 last week, according to the Scottish Government figures released today.

The figures go upto Sunday, April 12, and show that across Scotland 962 who have died have had covid19 on their death certificate.

The number of positive cases in Fife has also risen again, with 424 in Fife, up from 397 yesterday.

There are currently 105 people in hospital with the virus, and five in intensive care.

To date, 34,064 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these 6,748 were positive.
