Number of people with Coronavirus in hospital on the rise in Fife

The number of positive cases in Fife has risen by 22, with 446 in Fife, up from 424 yesterday.

There are currently 126 people in hospital with the virus, meaning 21 people have been admitted since yesterday.

Six of those are in intensive care.

To date, 35,392 people in Scotland have been tested. Of these 7,102 were positive.

It comes after yesterday’s news that the number of coronavirus deaths in Fife has tripled in the space of a week.

46 people are now known to have died, up from 15 last week, according to the Scottish Government figures released this week.

The figures go upto Sunday, April 12, and show that across Scotland 962 who have died have had covid19 mentioned on their death certificate.
