Patients updated after COVID case link closes Kirkcaldy Health Centre


NHS Fife said a number of practice staff have been required to self-isolate following contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 associated with Kirkcaldy Health Centre, but said there continues to be no evidence of any risk to patients at this stage and no patients have been required to self-isolate.
In a statement, it said arrangements for patient appointments for the remainder of this week are as follows:-

Hide AdDrs Dixon, Duggan, Egerton, McCrickard & MacKernan - Existing routine appointments will continue as normal, however, no further routine appointments can be made at this time.
Drs McKenna, Morris & Murphy – All routine appointments will be postponed for the remainder of this week. This also includes those appointments scheduled to take place by phone and by video link.
Drs Mitchell, Fordyce and Lempke – Existing routine appointments will continue as normal, however, no further routine appointments can be made at this time.
Those patients requiring urgent review or assessment can continue to do by contacting their practice by telephone as normal.
A further update will be provided on Friday.

Hide AdIt added that anyone experiencing the well-established symptoms of COVID-19 should immediately self-isolate and arrange a test using the NHS inform website at: nhsinform.scot or by calling 0800 028 2816.
A local online support hub has been created to provide information on testing for COVID-19 and updates on the pandemic.
