Significant drop in coronavirus deaths in Fife
The number of coronavirus deaths in Fife has dropped dramatically, with the rate showing a definite reduction week-on-week.
181 people are now known to have died from the virus, meaning four people have died in the last week.
It was confirmed last week that 177 lives had been taken by coronavirus in Fife, which was 15 more than the previous week.
Of the 181 deaths in Fife, 66 occurred in care homes, with 15 at home, and 100 in hospitals.
The latest death statistics cover the week between May 18 and May 24.
