Two more die of coronavirus in Fife

Two more people have died of coronavirus in the last week, but no new cases have been detected in a week.

It means a further two people have died since the previous week’s update.

73 of those deaths have occurred in care homes, with 17 at home, and 107 in hospitals.

The latest death statistics cover the week between June 15 and June 21.

Meanwhile, Fife has marked a seventh day with no new cases.

A total of 928 cases have been detected in Fife since the start of the outbreak, a number which has remained the same since Wednesday, June 17.

The number of people currently in hospital who have tested positive for coronavirus is 51.

The number of people in intensive care is less than five.

A total of 238, 076 people in Scotland have been tested to date. Of these 18,191 were positive.
