Cllr Ryan Smart says he has received numerous complaints since Monday regarding the parking situation at the Randolph Wemyss Memorial Hospital, where Fifers are being vaccinated.

He has received reports of people abandoning their cars in the street and parking at bus stops.

People are contacting me about it every day,” he said.

"It would help if anyone who has a lot of cars in the nearby crescent car park would move them somewhere else. They need to think of the community, the NHS and do their bit.

"We need to think about people who are getting the vaccine. We don’t want elderly folk walking huge distances in the cold to get the vaccine.

Cllr Smart says he has spoken to Police Scotland and Fife Council officers about the issue, and they will monitor the site to make sure people are not breaking parking regulations.
