Kindness and compassion earn Fife healthcare hero a COVID award
Karen Johnson, clinical director and chief nurse at HC-One was included in the inaugural Healthcare Hero Awards from Knight Frank.
She was one of ten to be honoured for their commitment and dedication throughout the pandemic.

Hide AdThe winners were chosen for their leadership, kindness and compassion, and commitment to thinking creatively to make sure residents, colleagues and visitors felt safe and protected.
Karen was nominated by Sir David Behan CBE, non-executive chairman at HC-One.

He said: “She has demonstrated unfaltering attentiveness, kindness, patience and empathy during these difficult and emotional times while working with the weight of responsibility of the safety of tens of thousands of people. “
