Jacqueline posted on Facebook: “I want to thank everyone for their messages of love and support for myself, Lennox and the rest of the family.
“By being an organ donor William has helped so many people so we are taking comfort in this and we are so proud of him.
“He will be sorely missed by a lot of people.”
William’s friend Cameron Ian Campbell, who has organised the online fundraiser, paid tribute.

“William’s daughter is still to turn one and has been left without a father; knowing William as I did, I know he was going to continue being the awesome father he was being.
“Can you imagine what such a young family with little income has now to go through?
“With William’s closest loved ones permission and in respect to how much I love him, I have taken it to create a fundraiser to help with funeral care and after care ... maybe even a wee nest egg for his daughter for when she turns 21.
