Nostalgia: Workers from Kirkcaldy’s Tramways in the 1910s

A glimpse into a past transport era in Kirkcaldy.
In this photograph, which goes back to the 1914-1918 period, conductresses on the former tramway system are seen with the tramway manager, Mr James Fisher.
Kirkcaldy’s tramway system first came into service in 1903 – an occasion hailed locally as the transport event of the age.
