1993: A royal visitor on Kirkcaldy High Street
You don’t often see members of the Royal family in town.
1993 saw the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, visit Kirkcaldy.
She went on a walkabout along the High Satreet to meet some locals who had turned out give her a warm welcome.
Earlier that day, Princess Anne officially opened the new Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
