After school club fun

PUPILS who attend Buckhaven Primary’s after school football club enjoyed a visit from East Fife director Harry Blyth and players Craig Johnstone and John Ovenstone.

They had the opportunity to ask them questions and find out a bit about the club, its history and achievements.

The pupils have been invited to attend a home match free of charge.

The school has extended grateful thanks to the club for the visit and is delighted to have strong links with the local team.

Meanwhile, the families of P1 and P2 pupils recently attended a ‘phonics workshop’ in the school, led by class teachers.

The workshop aimed to share with families how phonics is taught in school, the resources used and how they can support the children’s learning at home.

The event was a great success.
