Crail Golf Club is looking forward to one of its biggest nights of the year when its guests will be Blueflint.

After receiving funding from Creative Scotland, the band recorded its third album with renowned producer Paul Savage, who worked with King Creosote on the much-acclaimed ‘From Scotland With Love’ soundtrack album.

‘Stories from Home’ has just been released and is now being promoted with a national tour, and the Crail club delighted to have secured a date on that tour.

The sound of Blueflint is defined by the sublime close harmonies of Deborah Arnott and Clare Neilson, whose voices are accompanied by a five-piece line-up intertwining banjos, fiddle, piano, electric guitar, double-bass and drums.

The band has toured with the Proclaimers and has played to sell-out audiences throughout the UK on a previous tour of their own in 2013.

Blueflint will be at Crail Town Hall, Marketgait South, on Thursday, April 9. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. For more details visit www.crailfolkclub.org.uk
