A boost for local animal charities

Clients from St Clair Veterinary Group in Kirkcaldy have been helping to give local animal charities a helping hand.

They handed in donations of pet food to representatives from the charities which included the Cat Protection League (CPL), Fife Cat Shelter, Fife Rottweiler Rescue, Scottish Springer Rescue and the SSPCA.

A group spokeswoman said a few hundred pounds worth of food was donated including tins of food, pouches and treats. She said: “This year we did a Facebook campaign to get the word out there and we had a fantastic response.

“People have been incredibly generous and we are absolutely delighted with the amount of donations we received.
