Word of mouth in Methil soon spread about Chattabox, a week-long holiday club staged by Wellesley Parish Church, which proved very popular with children and adults alike.

The youngsters met every day at the church hall to enjoy singing, games, crafts and drama, as well as making a special craft box about the different Bible stories they had heard. The church also hosted a family fun night, with a mini-Olympics and a supper for everyone. The week concluded with a special service led by the holiday club team. Praising all the support, Rev Gillian Paterson said it was the church’s fifth holiday club and, each year, it got better, with more helpers and even more creative crafts.
