It’s time to hit the path!

Friday marks the start of Bob’s Walk 2017, and I’m delighted to be taking part once again.

We start at Maggie’s Fife on Friday morning and arrive at the new Maggie’s Forth Valley Centre in Larbert on Monday.

Our route follows the coastal path all the way to Kincardine and then on towards our destination.

I’m looking forward to getting my boots on again.

Bob got me to take part in his last two walks, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I went from someone who couldn’t get as far as Seafield Tower without a wee lie down to being able to rack up a decent 10-12 miles with no problems.

When we finished our walk, I went back and completed the stretch from Kincardine to the Forth Bridge.

Maybe doing it all in one go wasn’t my best idea! Door to door it was 21 miles, and I suffered the next day.

And the day after ...

But it’s worth it to raise money for Maggie’s Fife.
