The well-known former owner of the family-run Craws Nest Hotel in Anstruther – and mum to radio host Edith – said it was an honour, adding: “DAPL is such a vital service for people and does fantastic work. I am really looking forward to being involved.”

Liam Thomson, DAPL business co-ordinator, commented: “We are delighted that Eleanor has chosen to join the DAPL team. She has helped the lives of many people through her brilliant charitable work.”
