Colleague Gloria Mullen has helped organise the event, on March 19 at the Expressions Dance Studio.

She, and many others, felt Hamish deserved some recognition for all the voluntary work and youth support he had provides since the early 1970s.

Local businesses had donated excellent raffle prizes, she added, and Hamish would be donating proceeds to a cause of his choice. Hamish – who acknowledged the help he had received from colleagues over the years – started at The Centre in Leven in June 1972 and was involved with a range of Levenmouth groups and providing a variety of activities.
