Fife Sing (Kirkcaldy) is a unique event where everyone can come together and enjoy the passion and power of singing in the Town Square, Kirkcaldy on Saturday, July 30.

The event, being held in conjunction with Fife Youth Arts, will see everyone join together to sing Handel’s Hallelujah chorus.

The public performance takes place at 3pm, but on the day, soloists from Scottish Opera’s emerging artist programme will work with all the Fife Sing (Kirkcaldy) singers in morning workshop sessions.

The experience is open to everyone, whatever their ability.

A number of evening rehearsals will also be taking place ahead of the performance. These will run on week days from Monday, June 27 to July 8 at the Old Kirk in Kirkcaldy.

All participants can sign up for up to two rehearsal sessions to get them ready for the big day.

The rehearsals can help beginners learn the music, or warm up any more experienced singers for the big performance.
