Mrs Logie’s son, Ron Logie, contacted the East Fife Mail to say: “The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who attended our mum’s funeral at Leven Parish Church on Friday, February 19. Their thoughts and prayers have been of comfort to us. Many thanks for their generous donations, which have been passed to both Leven Parish Church and the Scottish SPCA. Finally, I’d like to extend a personal note of thanks to Levenmouth police for their support on the day itself, as well as throughout this difficult time.”

Local media, including the Mail, was also praised by Mr Logie, who added: “My personal thanks for your reporting integrity in the coverage of our unfolding story.”
