Fife groups receive a share of £15k thanks to Provincial Grand Lodge

A host of local charities benefited from the efforts of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Fife and Kinross when the proceeds of their fundraising activities '“ to commemorate the 270th anniversary '“ were handed over at the Lodge of Balgonie, Markinch.

A touching tribute to the organisations was given by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Evelyn Crombie.

Recipients of the £15,000 raised were: Master Owen Plimer, John Fergus School, Autism Rocks, Fife Association of Burns Clubs, Fife Branch of Parkinson’s UK, Buckhaven Primary School, Ben & Finlay Stevens, Stratheden Horicultural Therapy Department, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Carnegie Nursery, Scottish Police Pipe Band, Mary Leishman Foundation, Children’s Unit Victoria Hospital, RNLI Anstruther Lifeboat, Scouts Scotland, Fife Sands, Cottage Family Centre, Master Riess Fairbairn, Baptist Church Indoor Bowls and Fairway Fife.
