Fife's greatest gigs: Marillion, Fife Aid2, Craigtoun Park
Marillion were headlining the Saturday night of the event, having released Clutching At Straws the previous year.
But what the fans at the ill-fated Fife Aid 2 did not realise that this would be Fish’s last live appearance with the band, departing shortly afterwards.
The dismal weather cleared up just enough to make this a cracking outdoor gig which ended with a rousing encore of the anthemic Market Square Heroes, which had everyone jumping out their muddy welly boots!
