Catching them live 40 years on, in their home town, in front of a capacity 2000 crowd, was rather special.

Dan McCafferty’s vocals continued to define the band’s sound as they tore through their back catalogue with sheer glee.

And, four decades on,’Broken Down Angel’ remained the most radio-friendly rock song imaginable ... and it still made you smile.
