Find out what's '˜On Your Doorstep' in Fife
The ‘On Your Doorstep’ website was launched at a Community Marketplace event in Rothes Halls, Glenrothes.
The website has been set up by Fife Council’s Self Directed Support (SDS) team to show people what is available in their community when they are looking for support and activities for themselves, friends or for family members.

Julie Paterson, health and social care divisional general manager, said: “The ‘On Your Doorstep’ Community Marketplace Event was a big success. The public had the opportunity to find out about some of the activities, clubs and groups that are available in their communities and how they could get involved through a variety of different stalls, displays and activities being presented by the local groups and clubs.
“The launch of the website is the culmination of a community mapping project undertaken by the SDS team to identify as many activities and supports available in Fife’s local communities as possible.
“It has been developed so that people can search online for the activities and support that is available on their doorstep.”
