5. The New Viceroy Indian in Leyland opens

6. Borgo
Borgo Antica Osteria, located on on Oakbrook Road, Sheffield is the newest addition to a portfolio of success for the Italian business duo Giacinto Di-Mola and Vito Vernia. Launched in June, Borgo gives diners an opportunity to enjoy steaks, fish, pasta, pizza, and even Sunday roasts with an Italian spin. | National World

7. DUBU opens in Bexhill, which serves top quality sushi, burgers and tacos that are homemade.
DUBU on Western Road, Bexhill, East Sussex is a newly launched restaurant serving top quality, homemade sushi, burgers and tacos. Owned by Hamid Fayazipour and Elmira Bukhonka, the restaurant opened in April. Hamid added that he and Elmira have more than 10 years of experience in making sushi. 8. Bavette
French restaurant Bavette, located on Town Street, Horsforth, Leeds opened in February 2024 and has already has been named in the Michelin Guide. Owned by by former head chef and managing director of The Culpeper Group Sandy Jarvis and his husband Clement Cousin. Bavette offers mainly traditional French cuisine with a few British, Spanish and Italian dishes. Its shellfish bisque has been the most popular dish on the menu. | Tony Johnson/National World
