Works starts on new Persimmon homes as part of major development in Kirkcaldy

Persimmon is adding more than 70 more houses to its development at Rosslyn Gait on the outskirts of the Lang Toun.

The latest phase will see 73 new two, three and four bedroom homes built as part of a major project that will deliver 1088 new homes in the area – 163 of which will be transferred to housing association partners. The investment also includes funding for a new primary school and community hall, as well as new commercial and leisure facilities.

James MacKay, Persimmon North Scotland managing director, said: “I’m delighted to see work begin on the latest phase of our Rosslyn Gait development, which will open the door to home ownership for more families in Kirkcaldy and across Fife.
