REPRESENTATIVES from some of the charities who recently benefited from the generosity of Diageo employees, at Cameronbridge Distillery and Leven Spirit Supply, visited the distillery for a recognition lunch.
Over the past year, the groups have received almost £13,500 (once all the money was doubled by the Diageo Foundation) as a result of the fund-raising activities of Cameronbridge and Leven Spirit Supply employees.
Those to benefit were Victoria Hospice in Kirkcaldy, Rachel House (CHAS) Kinross, Alzheimer’s Scotland, The Butterfly Trust, Leven Child Development Centre, Kennoway Scouts, 1st Methil Girl Guides and Cherish Watoto, Kenya.
Steve Blake, general manager, said: “It’s great to be able to continue to support the truly valuable work these organisations provide for our local communities and I know it is much appreciated by them.
“The passion and commitment demonstrated by the team at Cameronbridge and Leven Spirit Supply in raising these funds is something we are all extremely proud of – well done to all involved.”
