IT was smiles in the sun on Leven High Street at the weekend as the annual Fun Day hit the town.
Throughout the event, which began at 10am on Saturday, the crowds were entertained by a bumper pack of entertainers including a cheerleading squad, pipe band, jugglers, sculptors, John Murray’s DJ Roadshow, Mary Bradford’s Singers and the On The Wagon Big Band.
With the sun shining all day organisers the Leven Business Association said everything went to plan, with the event benefiting from a good turnout of people who dug deep into their pockets.
Michael Morris Jnr, a member of the committee, told the Mail: “The feedback I heard was very good.
“Overall I think the weather makes a difference.
“Plenty of people were there and spending money as well, which is good as the aim of the day is to get people back on to the High Street.”
