Levenmouth band headline at King Tuts to launch album

The gig will be the launchpad for the five-piece Levenmouth indy rockers’ first album, Chrysalis, which features many tracks familiar to fans from live performances.

There will be coaches running from Leven and Buckhaven to the gig, ensuring the band will have a large home following showing their support and making plenty of noise.

“We’ve been working on the album since January and are really excited about it,” said frontman Cameron Barnes. “A lot of the songs will be familiar to anyone who has seen us live but there are also a couple of surprises on there too.”

All the songs have been collaborative efforts by the band and the album was recorded at The Slate Room, Edinburgh.

“Playing at King Tuts is a huge thing for us,” Cameron said. “It’s where some big bands, like Oasis, started out. We’ve played there before but not as the headline act so we’re hoping that as many of our fans as possible can make it along to show their support.”
