Makeover for Glenrothes hippo from Friends group

Fife artist Kerry Wilson created a new mosaic logo for the the Friends of Riverside Park (FORP) which has now been added to one of the statues. famous.

The concrete hippos, which have become synonymous with the town and something of a Glenrothes mascot, were designed by town artist Stanley Bonnar in 1973. There are a number of hippo installations across Glenrothes.
