More than a hop, skip and a jump at Lundin Mill
Parents and staff joined the pupils of Lundin Mill Primary School recently to hop, skip, jump - and even space hop - around the school grounds.
The energetic 1km circuit was for Race for Life, in aid of Cancer Research UKs life-saving work.
Over 120 people took part with children ranging from Primary 1 to Primary 7. The whole school supported the event real team effort whilst raising money for a good cause.

“We have special reasons for taking part in the Race this year, as well as wanting to give back to the community.

“This has also been a great addition to our curriculum, encouraging pupils to run, walk and keep fit.”

Rachel Carr, head of Race for Life, said: “Young people today are the generation who could see ground-breaking treatments and cures for cancer in their lifetime. They will be the researchers and lifesavers of tomorrow. But first, we need them to be the fundraisers of today – and walk, jog and run to help beat cancer sooner.”
